We’re excited to introduce Automatic Pop-Out Player in Ray Browser—an effortless way to keep your videos playing while you browse or play. This feature ensures that whenever you switch tabs or navigate away from a video, it pops out into a floating mini-player, so you never miss a moment.
How It Works
Ray Browser’s Automatic Pop-Out Player detects when a video is playing and seamlessly moves it into a small, resizable window when you switch tabs or navigate away. The pop-out player stays on top of your other windows, allowing you to:
- Watch while you browse – Keep an eye on gameplay streams, tutorials, or favorite videos while multitasking.
- Resize and reposition – Move the pop-out player anywhere on your screen (or to your second screen) for ultimate flexibility.
- Stay in control – Play, pause, and close the mini-player without returning to the original tab.
This feature works across most video platforms, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted viewing experience. We'll be adding support for more video platforms in the coming weeks.
How to Disable Automatic Pop-Out Player
While Automatic Pop-Out Player makes video watching more convenient, we know some users might prefer to manage it manually. You can disable it on a site-by-site basis in site settings:
- Go to the site where you want to disable automatic PiP.
- Hover over the site's address bar and click ⚙️ settings icon.
- Scroll down to Automatic Picture-in-Picture.
- Choose Block to disable it for that site.
This lets you keep auto pop-out for some sites while disabling it for others.
