Who can enter the Ray Vibe Awards?

Anyone can enter. Whether you're a first-time creator, student, indie dev, or seasoned coder, you're welcome to submit a vibe-coded game.

What qualifies as a “vibe-coded” game?

A web-first game where at least 80% of the code is generated using AI from prompts. You can use any LLM or AI tool, and non-AI assets are allowed.

Does my game have to be finished?

No. Prototypes or demos are welcome—as long as the game is playable and demonstrates your core idea or mechanic.

How do I submit my game?

When submissions are open, a form will be available on this page. Submit your game through our form, including your playable link, a short description, the AI tools you used, and your contact info.

How does voting work?

There are two rounds of voting. In the first round, every submitted game that is eligible will be put on the site for public voting. At the same time, our jury panel also nominates standout entries they believe deserve recognition. This ensures hidden gems aren’t missed, even if they didn’t go viral.

The second round focuses on a shortlist of finalists selected from both the public vote and jury nominations. These finalists are then scored using a 50/50 weighted system—half of the final score comes from the jury, and half from a new public vote. The winners are chosen based on this combined score.

Can I submit multiple games?

Yes. You can submit more than one game, as long as each meets the submission requirements.

Can I submit a game I’ve already made?

Yes. As long as it meets the other requirements, you’re good to go. You may even submit games that were submitted to other competitions or game jams.

What platforms does my game need to support?

Your game should run on desktop in Chromium browsers like Ray or Chrome. Mobile support isn’t required.

Can I win in multiple categories?

Yes. A single game can be eligible for multiple awards (e.g. Best Aesthetic and Best Overall).

How are winners paid?

Cash prizes will be paid via PayPal or Wise bank transfer. We’ll reach out to winners directly to arrange payment.

Why is Ray organizing this competition?

Ray Browser is built for gaming on the web. We’re running the Vibe Awards to support creators pushing the boundaries of AI-powered game dev—and to make vibe coding more accessible to everyone.
